Live Well Logan cooking workshops
NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops as part of Logan City Council’s Live Well Logan program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help you make healthy choices. People with all levels of cooking skills are welcome. Our workshops are a chance to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.
Sunday 11th July – Winter Warmers
Prepare recipes to nourish the soul and support a healthy immune system. Share the finished product at the end of the session.
Time: 1:00 – 2:30pm
Location: The Little Vege Patch at Springwood, 121 Barbaralla Drive, Springwood
Saturday 25th September – Cooking for a healthy heart
Keep your heart healthy without compromising the taste of your meals. Learn practical tips at this hands-on cooking session, where you will be the chef.
Time: 1:00 – 2:30pm
Location: Beenleigh Neighbourhood Centre 10-12 James Street, Beenleigh

Important – if you are showing signs of cold or flu, have travelled in the last 14 days (domestically or internationally) or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, we are unable to let you attend the workshop. If you have booked into the course and reply yes to any of these, please know in advance and we will refund or postpone your booking.

Some information about our workshops
- Live Well Logan workshops are open to Logan residents 18 years old and over
- $3 per person. Paypal payment preferred
- All participants must wear closed in shoes

Rosie Mohr – Dietitian/Nutritionist APD
Rosie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a diverse range of experiences in the field of nutrition over the past 8 years, all with a strong focus on preventative health.
Carly Booth – Dietitian/Nutritionist APD
Carly has worked with a diverse range of industries to improve health and wellbeing. With a passion for food, Carly enjoys cooking with the community.
If you are unwell and cannot attend you are entitled to a refund, alternatively we can transfer your booking to our next available cooking workshop. We appreciate you notifying us in advance so that we can fill your place from our waitlist.
