This session provides participants with the skills and knowledge to identify and control bacteria to ensure children’s food is safe for for them to eat.

  • Hygiene policy

  • Mini food safety appraisal

This session is specifically designed for educators and kitchen staff in early childhood settings that either provide food for children or where parents provide food.

A perfect way to demonstrate  in your quality improvement plan that staff have adequate food safety knowledge.

It builds on the knowledge gained from level 1 by exploring more complex food safety concepts and takes an in-depth look at food experiences with children and important steps we can take to ensure these valuable learning experiences are safe for all.
