Active Parks – Cooking Workshops
Nutrition Australia Qld hosts cooking workshops as part of Brisbane City Council’s Active Parks program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help you make healthy choices. People with all levels of cooking skills are welcome. Our workshops are a chance to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.

Monday 13th March – Salads and Side Dishes
Explore new tastes and seasonal produce. Learn how to create delicious salads and side dishes in this hands-on cooking workshop.
Time: 10am – 11:30am

We have Workplace Health and Safety procedures in place to minimise COVID risks. Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of all participants. We will be adhering to social distancing requirements during the workshop and have strict sanitising procedures in place.
Important – if you are unwell or develop cold or flu like symptoms please do not attend the workshop.
This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of Council’s Active and Healthy program. There is a small co-contribution from participants of $5.

- Open to Brisbane residents aged 18 years and over
- $5 per person
- Please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements
- All participants must wear closed in shoes

Rosie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a diverse range of experiences in the field of nutrition, with a strong focus on preventative health.
