Active Parks cooking workshops
NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops as part of Brisbane City Council’s Active Parks program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help you make healthy choices. People with all levels of cooking skills are welcome. Our workshops are a chance to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.
We are thrilled to announce that we are back running face to face workshops! With strict COVID safety plans ensuring we adhere to social distancing rules, you will see some changes to the way our workshops are run, however this won’t take away from the fantastic experience of participating in our cooking workshops! Some of these include reduced participant numbers, no sharing of ingredients or cooking equipment and participants preparing food for themselves only. Our number 1 priority is to ensure the safety of all participants.
Important – if you are showing signs of cold or flu, have travelled in the last 14 days (domestically or internationally) or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, we are unable to let you attend the workshop. If you have booked into the course and reply yes to any of these, please know in advance and we will refund or postpone your booking.
If you have any questions or feedback or wish to join the waitlist for a full workshop please call our friendly team on 07 3257 4393 or email [email protected].
These cooking workshops are proudly supported by Brisbane City Council’s Active and Healthy team.
