Chillout School Holidays – Cooking Workshops
Nutrition Australia Qld hosts cooking workshops as part of Brisbane City Council’s Chillout program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help your child make healthy choices. Children with all levels of cooking skills are welcome. Our workshops are a chance for your child to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.

It’s the season to create special occasion dishes that are perfect for sharing. In this practical cooking session you will be the chef and consume the final product at the end of the session.

COVID-19 UPDATE
We have strict COVID safety plans ensuring we adhere to social distancing rules. You will see some changes to the way our workshops are run, however this won’t take away from the fantastic experience of participating in our cooking workshops! Some of these changes include reduced participant numbers, no sharing of ingredients or cooking equipment and participants preparing food for themselves only. Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of all participants.
Important – if you are showing signs of cold or flu, have travelled in the last 14 days (domestically or internationally) or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, we are unable to let you attend the workshop. If you have booked into the course and reply yes to any of these, please know in advance and we will refund or postpone your booking.

Some information about our Chillout cooking workshops:
- Open to Brisbane residents aged 8 – 17 years
- $5 per person
- Please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements
- All participants must wear closed in shoes
- To book multiple children please do a separate registration for each child
- Maximum of 4 children per adult (adult is not required to participate)
