Chillout School Holidays – Cooking Workshops

Nutrition Australia Qld hosts cooking workshops as part of Brisbane City Council’s Chillout program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help your child make healthy choices. Children with all levels of cooking skills are welcome. Our workshops are a chance for your child to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.

Monday 3rd April – Easter Goodies

Learn how to create some yummy healthy meals and treats for your Easter celebrations in this fun filled cooking workshop. 

Time: 10am – 11:30am

Wednesday 5th April – Sushi and Gyoza Making

Learn the art of preparing delicious and healthy sushi and gyoza in this hands on workshop.

Wednesday 12th April – Makings of a MasterChef

Join us for a hands on cooking workshop where you will learn tasty recipes and basic cooking skills to make you feel like a MasterChef.

COVID-19 UPDATE

We have Workplace Health and Safety procedures in place to minimise COVID risks. Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of all participants. We will be adhering to social distancing requirements during the workshop and have strict sanitising procedures in place.

Important – if you are unwell or develop cold or flu like symptoms please do not attend the workshop.

This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of Council’s Active and Healthy program. There is a small co-contribution from participants of $5. 

 

Some information about our Chillout cooking workshops:

  • Open to Brisbane residents aged 8 – 17 years
  • $5 per person
  • Please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements
  • All participants must wear closed in shoes
  • To book multiple children please do a separate registration for each child
  • Maximum of 4 children per adult (adult is not required to participate)
