GOLD – Cooking Workshops
Nutrition Australia Qld hosts cooking workshops as part of Brisbane City Council’s Growing Older and Living Dangerously (GOLD) program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help you make healthy choices. People with all levels of cooking skills are welcome. Our workshops are a chance to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.

Wednesday 29th March – Easter Feast
Avoid the sugar overload this Easter. Come and create some healthy Easter meals and treats in this hands on workshop.

Wednesday 7th June – Cooking for a Healthy Gut
Did you know that eating 3 serves of wholegrains a day can reduce the risk of bowel cancer by 17%? Our dietitian will show you easy and healthy high fibre recipes to keep your gut healthy.

Friday 9th June – Cooking for 1 or 2
Creating a feast for 1 or 2 people doesn’t have to be daunting. Our dietitian will share some recipes and tips on cooking smaller meals.
