KRANK School Holiday Program – Cooking Workshops

Nutrition Australia Qld hosts cooking workshops as part of Logan City Council’s KRANK School Holiday Program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help your child make healthy choices. All cooking skill levels are welcome. Our workshops are a chance to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.

2024

 

Tuesday 2nd July 2024 – Mini Master Chef (5 – 11 years ONLY)

Join us for a hands on cooking workshop where children will learn tasty recipes and basic cooking skills to make you feel like a Masterchef. 

Time: 10am – 11:30am

Location: The Little Vege Patch – 121 Barbaralla Drive, Springwood

Monday 16th September 2024 – Teen Master Chef (12 – 17 years ONLY)

COVID-19 UPDATE

We have Workplace Health and Safety procedures in place to minimise COVID risks. Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of all participants. We will be adhering to social distancing requirements during the workshop and have strict sanitising procedures in place.

Important – if you are unwell or develop cold or flu like symptoms please do not attend the workshop.

This activity is funded by the Logan City Council’s KRANK School Holiday Program. There is a small co-contribution from participants of $3. 

 

Some information about our workshops

  • KRANK workshops are open to Logan residents aged 5 – 11 years and 12 – 17 years
  • $3 per person
  • Please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements
  • All participants must wear closed in shoes
