    NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops as part of Brisbane City Council’s Active Parks program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help you make healthy choices. People with all levels of cooking skills are welcome. Our workshops are a chance to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.

    We are thrilled to announce that we are back running face to face workshops! With strict COVID safety plans ensuring we adhere to social distancing rules, you will see some changes to the way our workshops are run, however this won’t take away from the fantastic experience of participating in our cooking workshops! Some of these include  reduced participant numbers, no sharing of ingredients or cooking equipment and participants preparing food for themselves only. Our number 1 priority is to ensure the safety of all participants.

    Important – if you are showing signs of cold or flu, have travelled in the last 14 days (domestically or internationally) or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, we are unable to let you attend the workshop. If you have booked into the course and reply yes to any of these,  please know in advance and we will refund or postpone your booking.

    NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops as part of Logan City Council’s Krank program. Each hands on workshop is run by our qualified dietitians and nutritionists and includes food and nutrition tips to help your teen make healthy choices. All cooking skill levels are welcome. Our workshops are a chance to develop new skills and gain confidence in a relaxed and social environment.

    Learn the art of preparing delicious healthy sushi. Enjoy your creation at the end with the group.

    Friday 8th April – Mexican Fiesta

    Mexican food is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Enjoy making fresh and healthy Mexican dishes in this hands on cooking workshop. 

    Time: 10:00 – 11:30am

    Please note – Due to Queensland Government restrictions regarding gatherings, siblings and parents will not be allowed into the venue unless booked in.     Creating a feast for 1 or 2 people doesn’t have to be daunting. our dietitian will share some recipes and tips on cooking smaller meals.

    Our cooking workshops are a great way for participants to build their skills and confidence in the kitchen.

    Practical skills developed in a cooking workshop help make it easier for participants to live healthier lives.

    Cooking workshops are also a fun team building activity for groups.  We run workshops for parent groups, student groups and groups of teachers.

    Refund Policy

    If your child is unwell and cannot attend you are entitled to a refund, alternatively we can transfer your booking to our next available cooking workshop. We appreciate you notifying us in advance so that we can fill your place from our waitlist.

     

  7. Cooking demonstrations in your workplace
