    NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops as part of Logan City Council’s Live Well Logan program.

    Some information about our Live Well logan workshops:

    • Open to Logan residents 18 years old and over.
    • $5 per person. Pay via PayPal or cash on the day.
    • All participants must wear closed in shoes.
    • You will receive a confirmation text message a day before the workshop to confirm your place.
    • To secure your place in the workshop, you must arrive and pay in full within 15 minutes of the workshop starting time.

    NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops on behalf of the Brisbane City Council’s Growing Older and Living Dangerously (GOLD) program. Our hands-on workshops allow participants to learn how to create healthy and tasty meals.

    Some information about our GOLD cooking workshops:

    • Open to Brisbane seniors.
    • $5 per person. Pay via PayPal or cash on the day.
    • Participants are limited to 2 cooking workshops per year to allow for equal participation in the Brisbane City Council GOLD Program.
    • All participants must wear closed in shoes.
    • You will receive a confirmation text message a day before the workshop to confirm your place.
    • To secure your place in the workshop, you must arrive and pay in full within 15 minutes of the workshop starting time.

     

    GnK cooking workshops

    Gold ’n’ Kids (GnK) cooking workshops are part of the Brisbane City Council Active and Healthy Lifestyle program. These workshops are suitable for seniors and children aged four years and over.

    Some information about GnK cooking workshops:

    • Open to Brisbane residents
    • Maximum of 3 children per adult for these workshops to allow for equal participation.
    • $5 participant (e.g. 1 adult and 2 children = $15)
    • Pay via cash on the day (Sorry, PayPal unavailable for this workshop).
    • All participants must wear closed in shoes.
    • You will receive a confirmation text message a day before the workshop to confirm your place.
    • To secure your place in the workshop, you must arrive and pay in full within 15 minutes of the workshop starting time.

    Instructions on registering for GnK:

    • Please ensure all boxes are filled out in the Grandparent/ Guardian section
    • List children in the Children’s details section. Minimum 1 child, maximum 3
    • Please tick the appropriate box in the Allergies section
    • Add comments (optional)
    • Tick that you understand the closed in shoes condition

    Our cooking workshops are a great way for participants to build their skills and confidence in the kitchen.

    The practical skills developed in a cooking workshop are a lasting gift that helps make it easier for participants to live healthier lives.

    Cooking workshops are also a fun team building activity for groups.  We run workshops for parent groups, student groups and groups of teachers.

    NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops during the school holidays on behalf of the Brisbane City Council’s Chillout program. Our enjoyable hands-on workshops allow school aged children to learn how to create healthy and tasty meals.

    Some information about our Chillout cooking workshops:

    • Open to Brisbane residents aged 8 – 17 years old
    • $5 per person. Pay via PayPal or cash
    • All participants must wear closed in shoes.
    • To book multiple children please do a separate registration for each child.
    • Maximum of 4 children per adult (adult is not required to participate)
    • You will receive a confirmation text message a day before the workshop to confirm your place.
    • To secure your place in the workshop, you must arrive and pay in full within 15 minutes of the workshop starting time.
