    NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops as part of Logan City Council’s Live Well Logan and KRANK programs. Each hands on workshop is run by qualified Dietitians and Nutritionists. You will learn how to create delicious masterpieces and explore different themes each month. Reinvigorate your menu plan through using our dietitian approved recipes and skills you learn in the workshop.

     

     

    Some information about our Live Well Logan workshops:

    • Open to Logan residents 18 years old and over.
    • $3 per person. Pay via PayPal only.
    • All participants must wear closed in shoes.
    • You will receive a confirmation text message a day before the workshop to confirm your place.

    Some information about our KRANK workshops:

    • Open to Logan residents 12 – 17 years old.
    • $3 per person. Pay via PayPal only.
    • All participants must wear closed in shoes.
    • You will receive a confirmation text message a day before the workshop to confirm your place.

    COVID-19 UPDATE

    We are thrilled to announce that we are back running face to face workshops! With strict COVID safety plans ensuring we adhere to social distancing rules, you will see some changes to the way our workshops are run, however this won’t take away from the fantastic experience of participating in our cooking workshops! Some of these include  reduced participant numbers, no sharing of ingredients or cooking equipment, participants preparing food for themselves only, and payment prior to the event only (no cash will be taken on the day).  Our number 1 priority is to ensure the safety of all participants.

    Please note – Due to Queensland Government restrictions regarding gatherings, siblings and parents will not be allowed into the venue unless booked in. Please call or email us if your child needs you to attend or requires more assistance. Cash payments on the day will not be accepted, please pay online.

    Important – if you are showing signs of cold or flu, have travelled in the last 14 days (domestically or internationally) or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, we are unable to let you attend the workshop. If you have booked into the course and reply yes to any of these,  please know in advance and we will refund or postpone your booking.

     

    Refund Policy

    If you are unwell and cannot attend you are entitled to a refund, alternatively we can transfer your booking to our next available cooking workshop. We appreciate you notifying us in advance so that we can fill your place from our waitlist. If you do not attend on the day without informing us, we may not be able to offer a refund or alternative booking date, however, this is up to the discretion of NAQ Nutrition.

You will learn how to create delicious masterpieces and explore different themes.     Some information about our GOLD cooking workshops:

    • Open to Brisbane seniors.
    • $5 per person. Pay via PayPal only. Sorry, no cash payments
    • Participants are limited to 2 cooking workshops per year to allow for equal participation in the Brisbane City Council GOLD Program.
    • All participants must wear closed in shoes.
    • You will receive a confirmation text message a day before the workshop to confirm your place

    Our cooking workshops are a great way for participants to build their skills and confidence in the kitchen.

    The practical skills developed in a cooking workshop are a lasting gift that helps make it easier for participants to live healthier lives.

    Cooking workshops are also a fun team building activity for groups.  We run workshops for parent groups, student groups and groups of teachers.

    NAQ Nutrition hosts cooking workshops during the school holidays on behalf of the Brisbane City Council’s Chillout program. Our enjoyable hands-on workshops allow children to create healthy and tasty meals under the guidance of a qualified Dietitian or Nutritionist.

    Some information about our Chillout cooking workshops:

    • Open to Brisbane residents aged 8 – 17 years old
    • $5 per person. Pay via PayPal ONLY -Sorry no cash payments accepted
    • All participants must wear closed in shoes.
    • To book multiple children please do a separate registration for each child.
    • Maximum of 4 children per adult (adult is not required to participate)
    • You will receive a confirmation text message a day before the workshop to confirm your place.
